This is the first of hopefully many entries that will chronicle the last, oh, 8 or so years of my life while also keeping others informed of what is happening now. The last journal entry I made, via pen/pencil and paper was about that time, right before life began taking some extremely strange and at times wonderful and at times horrible turns. I will never lie about any of the events you might read about as bizarre as they might sound. It is my wish that my children will be able to learn more about me this way and get to know me beyond the father figure they have come to love, fear and only know peripherally in their lives.
