OK, similar to the Dec. 2 posting, this one actually lists 101 things to do before you die :-)

Lets see ... where to start this rant ... so many choices.
Ill start by actually giving praise to a Web site I do most of my shopping at for computer parts for my system or systems I am helping people with. That would be Newegg.com. With the sales of my CDs going strongly at Half.Com, I was able to finance a DVD burner as a vehicle for future creative endeavors, or even top back up my immense MP3 collection. More on the latter at a later date.
Well, Newegg.com already offers what could be the best prices for almost anything computer related on the Internet. They have gotten more than a few hundred dollars from me over the past 3 years or so. My entire current system can all be traced back to one or more of their warehouses, as well as almost all of the components in Zacharys and Maxs machines, and several in Marcinkos as well. So, after ordering my DVD burner Sunday night, I was a little disappointed to see that it had already dropped $6 by Wednesday. I expected it to creep down in price but thought this was too significant to fast to ignore.
Fueled by the free tickets Steve Cooney scored by complaining to the Destinta manager after the poor sound quality in the VIP booth, I figured Id pen a nice e-mail to the folks at Newegg asking them if they could allow for an adjustment on my account. They were so gracious to issue issue the $6 credit almost immediately (received it today) that I am tempted to go out and buy the power supply I need for another system I am building. I will eventually and theyll get the $6+ from me, but I just thought it was a good way to start the weekend.
Speaking of Steve ... I need to add my next Blog soon to tell of my dead coffee carafe and Ruths phone ...
Stay tuned.

Lost bogie ...
Well, after a brisk, cold walk this afternoon (temperatures were hovering around 21 with a wind chill of about 9), I returned to my cubicle and while defrosting began evacuating my nasal cavities of all of the cold-induced bogies. While one clung for dear life after the initial honking, I reached for a new tissue only to find the cling on mysteriously missing from the next blowing (sure I look, always fascinated by the insanely gross things our bodies produce). Fearful that it was somewhere about my face, I quickly ran to the restroom, wiping my face with another tissue in case the worst had happened.
I looked high and low in the bathroom mirror over every inch of my face, including the thick of my beard, only to find nothing. I began checking my shirt and pants to see if it had made a mad dash for freedom at some point between blows.
Nothing.
Upon returning to my cube I scoured the crime scene my desk and keyboard in case again there had been an escape attempt I had not noticed. Again, no evidence of a bogie to be found. This will bother me for days. I hate losing anything.
If you come across a lost bogie in the next few days (the life expectancy I would think after leaving the safety of the human body), let me know. No reward is being offered and you do not need to return it. I am only looking for closure.
