Not so Deep Thoughts ...

I have been reading about the disappearance of this young girl and ventured out to the Web site they created to help get information out about her and hopefully collect information about her whereabouts. It is so sad and scary to think about what might have happened to her. When I looked over the photos on the site of the parking lot at the mall where she might have been abducted, it seems like such a cold, remote, desolate place. I could not help but think of the different scenes in “Fargo” and how sad that movie was at its core. Art imitating life or vice versa ...

Anyway, visit the site and light a candle, say a prayer or contact your deity in whatever way seems fit to show support and ask for a safe return or quick conclusion to this tragedy.

Well, hopefully this site is back up and running some time soon. I just ran across a reference to it while looking at a book titled “100 Things to do Before You Die.” It was linked from a page on Buy.Com for a book titled “1,000 Places to See Before You Die.” Why the sudden obsession with doing things before I die?!?!
